Using the methods of pedagogy or andragogy, students are coached based on how they learn.  There are visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners.  The human brain can only handle so much cognitive information at one time.  As we grow older the ability to receive and grasp that information gets smaller.  I work one on one by explaining, demonstrating, imitating and practice. Using positive reinforcement and constructive feedback you will leave the range better than before you came.  Increments of better is the goal.  Using methods taught to me by retired Sgt Maj John 'Shrek' Mcphee of 1st Special Forces Operations Detachment-Delta, I will coach you on proper stance, body position, index, grip, and address any eye issues.  By the end of the course you will be putting rounds on 3" target. We do not stand behind a bench or table.  Student will be down range within 3-10y from target.  Shooting slow and from 25-50 yards from a bench is not reality. My aim is to have you proficiently pull your handgun from a holster and hit the target with multiple rounds.  Carbine is the same, we work on the range not behind the bench.
