Proper gun size

How many of you take into consideration the grip size when purchasing a pistol? I see over and over folks with pistol either too large or too small for their hands. I would say 95% or more pistol owners have never been trained or coached to draw their pistol from either concealed or open carry. Nor have they ever stood within 7y of target and emptied their mag rapidly and got all hits within the A zone. If your firearm is not sized to you, you cannot maintain proper index which in turn will not allow you to shoot strait. FACT not fiction.

I agree with this fully. Touch points and index points are crucial for efficient operation.

There is an element of personal preference once a shooter arrives at a certain skill level.

For instance, I’ve come to have a preferred size and profile for my pistols after years and years if shitting and hundreds of thousands of rounds. I prefer a slightly larger grip front to back to allow my support hand to have the most contact possible but, I have also trained obsessively to work through the nuances of manipulating all the controls as efficiently as possible.

Thanks for letting me join.

Looks like a pretty rad place to talk blasters and training. Stoked to see this up and going. 🤘

Hopefully any of you browsing through are not finding it too cumbersome. I am by no means a computer geek, so let me know what you hate and like about this.
